Pastor: David Pence
Pastor Pence was saved at the age of seventeen while a Senior at Charleston High School in Charleston, West Virginia. He married his high school sweetheart, Joyce Gibson, a year after graduation. They were married for forty-two years.
Two years later, while living and working in Marietta, Ohio, David answered God's call to preach the Gospel. They moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, to enroll in Tennessee Temple University, where David received a Degree in Theology.

He later enrolled in Bethany Theological Seminary and received his Master's Degree in Religious Education. His thirty-eight years in the pastorate began at the Grace Baptist Church of Hurlock, Maryland. He then moved to Marion, Virginia, where he pastored the Calvary Baptist Church for eleven years. In 1978, he accepted a call to pastor the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Elkview, West Virginia. Eight years later, he began pastoring the Grace Baptist Temple in St. Albans, West Virginia, where he has now served for seventeen years.
Pastor Pence is heard by thousands each week on "Grace for Living," a television program that airs each Sunday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 am on Charter Cable Channel 16. |

Music Director: Tom Bowen
Brother Tom grew up in Fayette County, West Virginia. He was saved at an early age and surrendered to preach in 1976. He attended Indiana Baptist College in Indianapolis, Indiana.
After taking several trips to the mission field, Bro. Tom started working as a missionary evangelist with Bearing Precious Seed Ministries. He spent several years preaching and raising funds to print and distribute the Bible. His ministry has taken him to Central America fifteen times and trips to Israel, the Philippines, the Bahamas and more than twenty states.
Bro. Tom has six children and five grandchildren. The Bowen's came to Grace Baptist in January 1998, and claim it as "Home". Bro. Tom always says "There is no place, like this place, anywhere near this place, so this must be…the place".
